CAMPBELL HILL – Kenneth E. Rohlfing, 90 years of age, of Campbell Hill, Illinois passed away at 4PM, Monday, March 2, 2020 in their home on the farm in Campbell Hill.

Ken was born in Ava, Illinois to Arthur and Effie (Tope) Rohlfing, on October 24, 1929. He married Ruth Welp, wife of 69 years, on June 4, 1950 in Campbell Hill. Ken was a farmer in his early years and later moved to Effingham, Illinois where he was a manager at Crossroad Press. Upon his retirement from Crossroad Press, he and Ruth returned to the farm and continued farming and raising cattle. Ken's faith in God remained strong throughout his life and he often said "God Bless You", especially to his children.

Ken is survived by his wife Ruth, five children, Mike and wife Linda, Dave and friend June, Neil and wife Phyllis, Jeanne Hess and husband Joe and Brad and wife Carolyn, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, and special family friend, Debra Rohlfing.

Ken is preceded in death by their son Scott, his two brothers Ray and Lester and by his two sisters Lola Moeller and Vera Endres.

Memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Ron Coleman officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home where friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM. Memorials may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Illinois.
