SPARTA – Kenneth Hall, 63, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at his home in Sparta, Illinois.

Kenneth was born on October 26, 1962, in Murphysboro, IL, to George W. and Edith B. (Cox) Hall. He married Polly Ann Baue on November 20, 1982, in Sparta, IL. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2023. Kenneth was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his country from 1980 – 1984. He was owner/operator of Ken Hall Electric, Sparta, IL. Kenneth was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the American Legion Post #396, Sparta, VFW, Ainad Shrine, E. St. louis, Hope Lodge #162 AF & AM, Sparta, IBW Local 702, Sparta Boy Scout Troop 332, and was on the Scouting Council for over 30 years.

Kenneth is survived by his children: Bradley (Rhonda) Hall of Sparta, Kristy Hall of Sparta, Michael Hall of Sparta; his grandson, Rolland Trehearne, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was also preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sisters: George Ann Hall and Patricia Nordmann; his 4 brothers: Jeffrey, David Allen, Joseph W, Richard Andrew; and a sister-in-law, Billie Jo Hall.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10:00 am, at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL, with Rev. Paul Hahn officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held following service at the VFW Post #2698, Sparta, IL, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
