PERCY  – Kenneth Gerlach, 75, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Three Springs Lodge, Chester, IL.

Kenneth was born on January 19, 1948, in Chester, IL, the son of Alfred and Hilda (Becker) Gerlach. He married Judy Meyerhoff on May 11, 1968, in Cutler, IL. Kenneth retired from Gilster Mary Lee, Inc, Steelville, IL, and World Color Press, Sparta, IL. He was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church, Cutler, IL and was an elder for many years. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed riding in his car with his dog Zach.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Judy Gerlach of Percy, IL, his children: Michael Gerlach of Southaven, MS, Craig (Christi) Gerlach of Johnson City, TN, Elizabeth Gerlach of Eagan, MN; his granddaughter, Allyson, and his sister, Alice Welge of Chester, IL.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Landan.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Reformed Presbyterian Church, Cutler, IL, with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday, at the church.
