STEELEVILLE – Kenneth G. "Mac" McKinley, III, 51, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:42 PM, Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Sparta Community Hospital.

Kenneth was born on March 14, 1965, in Buffalo, NY, the son of Kenneth, Jr and Clodah (Young) McKinley. He was in the US Air Force for 8 years, during Desert Storm. He was retired procurement specialist in industrial pipes and fitting. Mac married Jane Sturber Boice on June 13, 2015 in Willisville. He adored his family, he took pride in serving in the Air Force, and loved his cars and Pittsburg Steelers.

Mac is survived by his wife; Jane Boice McKinley, of Steeleville, children; Colin McKinley, Corey and Sean Lewis and Hayden Granda. Step sons; Michael Downen, James Boice and Dustin Boice, 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother; Clodah Paula Lilley, of Mascoutah, IL, 2 brothers; J.J. Turner, of South Carolina, Fred Turner, of Mascoutah, IL, 2 sisters; Cathy Mandato, of South Carolina, and Mary McKinley, of Union City, PA.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father.

Celebration of life service will be held at the Steeleville American Legion on February 11, 2017 at 4 PM, friends are welcome to share in fellowship from 4 to 7 PM February 11, 2017 to remember Mac. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice.
