AVA, Kenneth Robert "Bob" Brown, 73, of Ava, formerly of Willisville, passed away at 8:00 A.M. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Kenneth was born October 28, 1936 in Cutler, Illinois the son of Kenneth W. Brown and Leona (Vorderbrugge) Brown. He married Lois Gail Wallace on April 8, 1982 at Tri-County Baptist Church in Willisville. He was a retired operator for Freeman United, DuQuoin, IL. He was a member of the Tri-County Baptist Church, Willisville. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Gail Brown of Ava; one son, Robert William Brown of Salem, IL; one daughter, Kristal Rednour of Sparta, IL; one stepson, Vince Robert of Owensboro, KY; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. Bill Brown of Willisville and Gene Brown of Willisville. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and one step son, Corey Robert. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Bill N. Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm and on Monday from 7:30 am until 11 am. Memorials may be made to Tri-County Baptist Church or Faith Christian School.
