Obituary

PERCY – Keith Alan Bockhorn, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Keith was born on May 21, 2026, in St. Louis, MO, to Kyle and Grace (Coleman) Bockhorn. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cutler, IL. Keith was very loved by his Doctors, Nurses and all who cared for him. 

Keith is survived by his parents: Kyle and Grace Bockhorn of Percy, his paternal grandparents: Korey and Melissa Bockhorn of Steeleville, his maternal grandparents: Ron and Michelle Coleman of Percy, his maternal great grandparents: Linda Coleman of Percy and Keith and Marge Hartman of Percy, his paternal great grandparents: Dennis and Martha Rieckenberg of Campbell Hill and Alan (Sherry) Bockhorn of Steeleville, his paternal great great grandmother: Evelyn Richmond of Cutler, his aunt and uncles: Blair (Hannah) Coleman of Mt. Vernon, Ross (Shealyn) Coleman of Steeleville, Aubrey Coleman of Percy, and Morgan (Dalton Eilers) Bockhorn of Campbell Hill, his cousin: Warren Coleman, and many great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Keith was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Stacy Bockhorn, and maternal great grandfather, Rayburn “Bud” Coleman

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 1:00 pm, at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Wes Henson officiating. Burial to follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, where friends may call from 10:00 am, until time of service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Family or Ronald McDonald House, and can be mailed to Wilson’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
