STEELEVILLE, Kay F. Chadderton, 54, of Steeleville, passed away at 9:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois. She was born August 24, 1959 in Perryville, Missouri the daughter of Velroy A. and Clementine (Lankford) Ruch. Kay married Kim C. Chadderton on April 22, 2006 in Steeleville, IL. Kay was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. She is survived by her husband: Kim C. Chadderton, Steeleville, IL; 2 Sons: Velroy (Valerie) Ruch, Belleville, IL and Michael Gaston, Chester, IL; Step Children: Lauren Chadderton, Steeleville and Philip Chadderton, Denver, Colorado; 4 Grandchildren: Kelsea Schrader, Coy Ruch, Gabriel Gaston and Ty Ruch; Siblings: Donnie Ruch, Chester, IL, Lori Farris, Steeleville, IL, Leroy Ruch, Pinckneyville, IL and Tina Laxton, Pinckneyville, IL. Kay is preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Charles Gaston. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM on Friday and on Saturday from 8 to 10 AM at the Church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Church or the Siteman Cancer Center.
