AVA, Kathy Jo Kessel, 50, of Frisco, passed away at 4:52 A.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at her home in Frisco, TX. She was born October 10, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. Kathy married Don Kessel on December 15, 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. Kathy was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Don Kessel of Frisco, TX.; daughter: Kori Nicole Kessel of Frisco, TX; brother-in-law: Michael Kessel and his wife Deborah of Bluejacket, OK, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. at Ava Evergreen Cemetery in Ava. Rev. James Easton will be officiating. Burial will be at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava on Thursday from 2 to 5pm. The preferred form of remembrance is to the ALS division of MDA.
