STEELEVILLE - Katherine "Kathy" Troue, 56, of Percy, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home in Percy, IL.

Kathy was born on August 14, 1964, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Walter and Dorothy Ruebke Joost.  She married Randy Troue on April 14, 1985 at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL.

Kathy was a Teacher's Aid at St. Mark's Lutheran School in Steeleville for over 20 years.  She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill.  Kathy was active in various church and community activities.  She was also very active on the family farm. Kathy enjoyed making crafts, planning family activities and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Randy of Percy, daughters, Jennifer (Nick) Armstrong of Steeleville and Jessica (Adam) Eggemeyer of Chester; twin granddaughters, Adeline Marie and Arabella Lynn Armstrong, grandsons, Paxon Armstrong and Owen Eggemeyer; her mother, Dorothy Joost of Steeleville; 2 sisters, Connie (Kevin) Muench and Chris (Eric) Froemling and many dearly loved family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Sandra Joost.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St Peter's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill with Minister Deb Rathert officiating and Interim Pastor Michael Foppe assisting.  Burial to follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wine Hill.  Friends may call from 5-8pm Monday, May 24, 2021 and 8-9 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville.  Friends may call at the church from 10-11am on Tuesday.  Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
