ELKVILLE – Katherine Jane Hawk, 67, of Elkville, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her home in Elkville.

Katherine was born in Sandwich, Illinois, on March 21, 1955, the daughter of Raymond and Esther Rowald Hawk.  She was married to Kenneth Clover, Sr., for over 20 years.  Kathy had previously worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.  She was a member of the Elkville Christian Church, Elkville, Illinois.

Katherine is survived by two daughters, Renee Murray of DuQuoin, IL and Angie (Mark) Queen of Cutler; one son, Kenny, Jr. (Tasha) Clover of Ava; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Hawk of Murphysboro and Terry Hawk of Murphysboro; and several aunts and uncles.

Katherine was preceded in death by her Parents; one granddaughter, Delany Piersol; and one infant granddaughter.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, on Monday, May 9, 2022, with Pastor Gary Pruitt officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 10 am until 11 am, Monday.  Memorials may be given to the Family to be used for funeral expenses.  To sign the guestbook, visit www.wilsonsfuneralhome.net .
