CAMPBELL HILL – Katherine "Kat" Ehlers, 83, of Campbell Hill, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, Illinois.

Katherine was born on September 13, 1941, in Percy, IL, the daughter of Sim James and Marjorie Alice (Carter) Griffiths. She married Ernest Ehlers, Jr on April 22, 1961, he preceded her in death on March 8, 2021. Katherine was a homemaker and retired Manager of Fleetwoods, Ava, IL. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL, where she was also a member of the Quilting Club.

Katherine is survived by her children: Russell (Vivian) Ehlers of Willisville, IL, Tracy (Bill) Reed of Willisville, IL, Jack (Chris) Ehlers of Elkville, IL, Marvin (Stacy) Ehlers of Ava, IL, Krista (Ken) McHughes of Marissa, IL, stepson Brian (Kristi) Ehlers of Ava, IL, stepson-in-law Bob Middendorf of Campbell Hill, IL; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brothers-in-law: Roy (Pat) Ehlers of Campbell Hill, IL, Ray (Alice) Ehlers of Carbondale, IL; and her sister-in-law Marty Ehlers of Campbell Hill, IL.

Katherine was also preceded in death by her Parents, her sister, Rose, her brothers, Russell and Jack, her daughter, Tina Rae Ehlers, her son, Dennis Ehlers, and her stepdaughter, Deb Middendorf.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL, with Deacon Ben Nikodym and Minister Deb Rathert officiating. Burial to follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday morning, where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
