CAMPBELL HILL – June M. York, 95, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Coulterville Rehabilitation and Care Center, Coulterville, Illinois.

June was born on February 20, 1929, in Maryland Heights, MO, the daughter of Paul and Vernice (Graves) Appel. June was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL. She loved to play cards, especially Pinochle, doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and tending to her plants.

June is survived by her children: Kathy (Tom) Rathert of Ava, IL, Mike (Lesley) York of Belfast Christ Church, New Zealand; her grandchildren: Charlotte (Bryan) Brant of Summeset, PA, Carrie (Chris) Schaber of Ava, IL, Ben (Nicki) Rathert of DuQuoin, IL, Adrian (Meleesa) York of Steilacoom, WA; her great grandchildren: Olivia Wilkerson, Tate and Eli Schaber, Grayson and Mieka York, Reilly Brant, Henry and Evie Rathert; her sisters: Shirley Seizinger of Bartlesville, OK and Mary Perkins of Garland TX.

June was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 11:00 am, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL, with Minister Debra Rathert officiating.  Burial to follow at Enfield Cemetery, Enfield, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 10:00 – 11:00 am, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL.
