AVA, Judy Stout, 71, of Ava, passed away at 1:05 PM Thursday, April 24, 2014, at her home in Ava, Illinois. She was born August 1, 1942 in Carbondale, Illinois the daughter of William and Theda (Thomas) Lipe. Judy married Gary Stout on Sunday, January 10, 1960 in Carbondale. Judy was a retired Paramedic from the Jackson County Ambulance Service. She was a member of the Ava Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her: husband: Gary Stout, Ava, IL; 3 Sons: Terry (Janine ) Stout of Lebanon, Oklahoma, Nelson (Donna) Stout of Belleville, IL and Bill Stout of Ava, IL; 1 Daughter: Melanie VanAusdoll of Ava; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Judy is also survived by 2 sisters: Sally Steffens of Champaign, IL and Becky (Mike) Estel of Anna, IL. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Jane and Mother-in-law, Leona Killgrove. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Ava, Illinois with Rev. Steve Duncan officiating. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Blue West.
