AVA - Judy Ann Dagner, 62, of Ava, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 4:06 pm, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, IL. Judy was born November 14, 1949 in Murphysboro, IL, the daughter of Luther and Mary Holliday Morris. She married Michael L. Dagner on June 18, 1966 in Murphysboro. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carbon Church of God in Murphysboro. Judy is survived by her husband, Michael L. Dagner of Ava; children, Michael (Angie) Dagner of Percy, Tammy (Doug) Ehlers of Ava, Scott (CeCee) Dagner of Steeleville; six grandchildren, Kolten Dagner, Megan and Nicholaus Ehlers, Logan, Taylor and Ray Dagner; five step grandchildren, Travis Gordon, Kyle Hornbostel, Brandi Ferguson Conder, Chad Ferguson, Brad Ferguson; 8 step great grandchildren, Drake & Hayleigh Smith, Jaycee Condor, Kylee Ferguson, Madelyn, Marissa, Makayla & Lyle Gordon; sisters, Nellie Ellis of Pomona, IL, Della Martin of Murphysboro, Cindy Murray of Murphysboro; brother, Thomas Morris of Murphysboro; two sisters-in-law, Mary & Troy Compton and Nancy & Jim VanHerzeele. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one half brother; two sisters; and one niece. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Ronald Heiman and Rev. Ruby Popejoy officiating. Burial will follow in Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 10 am. Memorials may be given to Relay for Life or Organ Donation.
