STEELEVILLE, Judith A. Pelate, 66, of Steeleville, passed away at 2:15 am Friday, June 10, 2011, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born January 17, 1945 in DuQuoin, Illinois the daughter of Howard Ellenberg and Lucille (Jones) Ellenberg. Judith married Glennon L. Pelate on July 6, 1974 in Percy, IL. She is survived by her husband Glennon L. Pelate of Steeleville, IL; one daughter: Lisa Blessing of Cedar Hill, MO; one son: Steve Sanders of Eureka, MO; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three brothers: Tommie Ellenberg of Cutler, IL, James Ellenberg of Eureka, MO, Gary Ellenberg of Galesburg, IL; three sisters: Bonnie Gaetz of Cutler, IL, Donna Thompson of Cutler, IL and Janice Mathenia of Marion, IL. Judith is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Larry and Dave, one sister: Janet. She was a Housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Harry Jones will be officiating. Burial will be at Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Monday from 11am to 1pm. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
