AVA – Judith Mae Oldham, 76, of Ava, passed away at 9:12 am, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.
Judith was born in Puxico, Illinois, on October 17, 1942, the daughter of Keith A. and Virginia Dameron Nisbet. She married Gene Kilpatrick on November 13, 1962 at Sato. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1981. She then married Harry Oldham on March 16, 1984 at Willisville. Judy retired as the Food Administrator at Trico School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ava.
Judy is survived by her husband, Harry W. Oldham of Ava; son, Gene Alan Kilpatrick of Tamaroa, IL; daughter, Sharon Kay Howell of Grand Tower, IL; step daughters, Kimberly Farthing of Tamaroa, IL, Lisa Garver of Ava, and Kristy Vestal of Murphysboro, IL; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Beisner of Ava; and brother, Tom Nisbet of Ava.
Judy was also preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, with Rev. Bill Stoklosa officiating. Burial will follow in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 10:00 am. Memorials may be given to Hope Lodge at Mayo Clinic.
