WILLISVILLE – Judith King, 82, of Willisville, passed away at 6:10 am, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home in Willisville.
Judith was born in St. Elmo, Illinois, on October 3, 1943, the daughter of Mr. Buchanan and Virginia Rhodes. She married Harley King in 1996. She was a member of TriCounty Baptist Church, Willisville. Judith was a Cook at the Randolph County Care Center and worked at Bridal Originals. She loved to make crafts and made rocking horses and stuffed dolls. She was an artist and loved to paint, especially horses.
Judith is survived by her husband, Harley King of Willisville; daughter, Ginger Kelly of St. Elmo, IL; son, Tom Kelly of St. Elmo, IL; two son, whom she raised, David and Bob Hopkins; several grandchildren; brother, Ben Haslett of East Cape Girardeau, IL; nephew, Johnnie Haslett of Percy; and good friends, Tammy Franklin and Cody and Brenda Rose.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lorie Spencer; sister-in-law, Vicky Haslett; and two nephews, Travis and Shane Haslett.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Murphysboro, with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. Burial to follow. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:00 am.
