STEELEVILLE - Judy Ann Evers, 67, of Steeleville, passed away at 1:16 am, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. Judy was born in Willisville, IL on December 24, 1944, the daughter of Donald and Lavern Misselhorn Rednour. She married Jon C. Evers on December 23, 1966 at Campbell Hill, IL. Judy was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill. Judy spent her early years raising her family while Jon was making a career in the Army. She would take her children to all sports activities while trying to enjoy a few of her own likes. She loved gardening, sewing, being in the outdoors, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband, Jon C. Evers of Steeleville; three daughters, Lori Evers Miller of Pinckneyville, Dianne (Dan) Hecht of Chester, and Michele (Tim) Neisler of Taylorville, IL; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; four sisters, Laura Moore of Sparta, Bonnie (Wesly) Ingram of Percy, Jonelle (Randy) Evers of Chester and Charla Hornbostel of Ava; three brothers, Jerry (Nyla) Rednour of Percy, Darryl Rednour of Iona, IL and Scott Rednour of Campbell Hill. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Dana Kay Evers and one great grandchild, Cayden Shaw. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 14, 2012 at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Matt Kamprath officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am to 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery.
