STEELEVILLE – Joshua R. Martin, 35, of Steeleville, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home in Steeleville, Illinois.

Joshua was born on August 18, 1989, in Sparta, IL, the son of Donald Inman and Jacqueline Martin Lyons. Joshua was employed at The Material Works, LTD (TMW), Baldwin, IL, and was of the Protestant Faith.

Joshua is survived by his girlfriend, Kayla Saunders of Steeleville, IL, his children: Jacob Martin, Lucas Martin, Natalee Durham, Adeline Martin all of Steeleville, IL; his mother, Jackie Lyons of Rockwood, IL, his father, Donald Inman of Rockwood, IL, his siblings: Daran (Sara) Lyons of Jonesboro, IL, Kimberly Lyons (Onie Boland) of Campbell Hill, IL, Samuel Martin of Elkville, IL, and Erica Ogden of Waterloo, IL.

Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lyons, his sister, Bethany and both Paternal and Maternal grandparents.

Joshua's wishes were for cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 4:00 - 6:00 pm, at Campbell Hill Community Center, Campbell Hill, IL. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for his children or the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
