PERCY – Joseph Michael Crain, 59, of Percy, passed away at 10:27 am, Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Joseph Michael was born in Herrin, Illinois, on March 14, 1961, the son of Joe and Mary Norris Crain.  He married Donna Dammermann on November 5, 1983 at Willisville, Illinois.  Mike was an Ironworker and member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Ava.  He enjoyed fishing and going to the races.

Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Crain of Percy; children, Brittany Crain of Steeleville and Joey Crain of Percy; granddaughter, Aubrey; two sisters, Jeanne Sorgea of St. Libory, IL and Cindy Caby of Percy; and Father-in-law, Herman Dammermann of Ava.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Mother-in-law, Ann Dammermann.

It was Mr. Crain's wishes to cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
