SPARTA – Joseph A. Specogni, 36, of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2022, at his home in Sparta, IL.

Joseph was born September 9, 1985, in Danville, IL, to Joseph P. and Dauna D. Jiles Specogni. Joseph was the owner of J.S. & Sons Construction, Sparta, IL. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Lively Grove, IL.

Joseph is survived by his sons, Joseph Specogni of New Athens, IL, Wrigley Specogni of Chicago, IL, father, Joseph P. Specogni of Steeleville, IL, brother, James (Marcy) Specogni of Coulterville, IL, sister, Meagan Sloan of Sparta, IL, special friend, Olivia Othaout of Sparta, IL, nieces; Aubree, Peyton, and Meadow Specogni, Taria, Olivia, and Sophia Sloan.

Joseph is preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Mike Fogerson officiating.
