JACOB - Jonathan Michael Kranawetter, 21, of Jacob, passed away at 11:09 pm, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, Illinois from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jonathan was born April 14, 1991 in Murphysboro, IL, the son of Ronald Gene and Patricia Lynn Pendleton Kranawetter. Jonathan worked at Rural King in Murphysboro. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob. Jonathan graduated in 2009 from Trico High School. He loved working on cars and spending time with his family. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Trish Kranawetter of Jacob; his sister, Amanda Kranawetter and her fiancée, Brad Green; paternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Vogel of Ava; maternal grandparents, David and June Pendleton of Gorham, IL; aunts and uncles, Karen (Tony) Mayberry of Rockwood, IL, Bonnie (Louie) Heiple of Ava, Chris (Doug) Thies of Campbell Hill, IL, Bob Pendleton of Murphysboro, and Betty Ann Pendleton of Gorham; several cousins, whom all thought the world of him. Jonathan had many friends and will be greatly missed by all of them. Jonathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Kranawetter. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob with Rev. Mike Kettner officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Gorham, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday at the church from 10 to 11 am. Memorials may be given to the Family.
