CAMPBELL HILL, Johnny R Jones, 55, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 12:55 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at his home in Campbell Hill, Illinois. He was born February 20, 1954 in Eldorado, Illinois the son of Jimmy B Jones and Velma (Klaffer) Jones. Johnny married Debbie D. Dixon on November 11, 1989 in New Liberty Church, Eddyville, Illinois He is survived by his wife Debbie D. Jones of Campbell Hill, IL; children: Crystal Twitchell of Elizabethtown, IL, Tim Jones of Golconda, IL, Amy and Gaylen Johnson of Metamora, IL, Julie Barnard of East Peoria, IL, Carrie and Ricky Miller of Campbell Hill, IL; grandchildren: Steven, Tyler Ray, Dylon Twitchell, Geoffrey and Caylee Johnson, Allen barnard, Jimmy Stanley, Noah and Symon Woods and Luke Miller; brothers: Jimmy Lee Jones of Cane in Rock, IL and Jerry B. Jones of Harrisburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, two nephews, and one grandson. He served in the U.S. Air Force during 1973 to 1979, and was a member of United Community Church in Campbell Hill for the past four years. He operated heavy equipment at Kinkaid Stone for nine years. Johnny was an avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral services will be held Monday January 11, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at United Community Church in Campbell Hill, IL. Rev. Sam Higgerson will be officiating. Burial will be at Looney Springs Cemetery in Campbell Hill. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 to 8pm then on Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, then from 10 to 11:30 at the church. Memorials may be made to United Community Church.
