WILLISVILLE - Johnnie L. Brewer, 59, of Willisville, passed away at 4:53 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2008, in rural Cutler, IL. Johnnie was born June 10, 1949 in Willisville, Illinois the son of Leland Brewer and Billie (Carter) Brewer. He was a tow motor operator at Gilster Mary-Lee Corp., in McBride, MO. He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam Era. He was a graduate of the Class of 1968 at Southwest Miami Senior High. He is survived by his brother, Jimmie (Debby) Brewer of Pinckneyville, IL; two nieces, Jennie Healy and Kasie Brewer; five great nieces and nephews and several cousins. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Due to Mr. Brewer's request he will be cremated. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Monday from 5 to 7 pm.
