PERCY, John J. Jeremiah, 65, of Percy, passed away at 8:55 AM Monday, December 5, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois. He was born August 1, 1946 in Percy, Illinois the son of Gerald Victor Jeremiah and Delvia (Tosh) Jeremiah. John married Eva Jeremiah on Friday, May 18, 1990 in Sparta, Illinois. He is survived by his: wife: Eva Jeremiah, Percy, IL; son: Jeff and Melissa Jeremiah, Salem, IN; 2 grandsons: Adam and Sean Jeremiah; step daughter: Ashley; 2 brothers: James V. Jeremiah, Cutler, IL, Tim D. Jeremiah, Lewisburg, TN; sister: Susan L. Misuraca, Viburum, MO; several nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his: parents. He was a Musician. Mr. Jeremiah spent more than 20 years playing piano with bands at venues across Chicago and the United States, Beginning in the early 1970s. It was John's wishes for cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Love Fund for the Family. Arrangements are under the auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy.
