WILLISVILLE, John C. Imm, 83, of Willisville, passed away at 12:02 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Willisville, IL. He was born December 26, 1926 in Gorham, Illinois the son of John Valentine Imm and Dorothy (Easton) Imm. John married Sandy Bequette on August 28, 1987 in Belleville, IL. He is survived by his wife Sandy Imm of Willisville, IL, children: Melody and Charlie Grisham of Kokomo, IN, Kim and Bruce Foutch of E. Carondelet, IL, Paula Capper of Dupo, IL, Ron and Debbie Imm of Columbia, IL, Christy and Brent Harting of Dupo, IL and Janet Smith of Oregon; two step children: Don Risinger of Ava, IL and Christy Contz of Willisville, IL; several grandchildren; sister: Rita and Gene Rutledge of Granite City, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents. John served in the U.S. Navy,as a seaman, 1st class, during the World War II. He was also retired auto body owner. He was a member of the American Legion Post#1096 of Campbell Hill, IL. Due to Mr. Imms wishes cremation will take place. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Korner 2 in Campbell Hill, IL. Arrangments are under the auspicies of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL.
