ROCKWOOD, John Michael Dilday, 21, of Rockwood, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009, in Boerne, TX. John Michael was born January 27, 1988 in Belleville, Illinois the son of Robert Matthew Dilday and Angela (Sanders) Dilday. He was serving his internship in Game Preserve Management & Shooting Complex in Boerne, TX. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Raddle, where he served as an Altar Boy for 13 years. He was a member of the Trico High School Class of 2006. He is survived by his parents, Robert & Angela Dilday of Rockwood, IL; one sister, Rebekah Dilday of Rockwood, IL; paternal grandparents, John & Hilda Dilday of Rockwood; maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Mike & Barb Sanders of Rockwood; maternal great grandmother, Edith "Tutu" Zimmerman of Little Rock, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Jim & Pam Dilday of Rockwood, Mellany & Dan Kieser of Belleville, IL, and Joe & Cathy Sanders of Rockwood; and cousins, Jennifer Cox, Justin & Brandon Dilday, Bethany Bess, Kaitlyn & Breanna Worth, Zachary Sanders, and Zachary & Natalie Kieser. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Sanders, paternal great grandparents, maternal great grandfathers and one maternal great grandmother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Raddle with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating. The burial will be private. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 9:45 am. Memorials may be made to Sandra's Comfort.
