CUTLER – JoDeane "Jo" Miller, 75, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at her home in Cutler, Illinois.

JoDeane was born on Feb 22, 1951, in DuQuoin, IL, the Daughter of Thomas and Bessie (Presswood) Gaston. She married Roy D Miller on March 1, 1969, in Pinckneyville, IL. Jo was a Homemaker and was of the Protestant faith. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family.

Jo is survived by, her children: Lonnie (Sue) Miller of Cutler, IL, Morris (Donna) Miller of Willisville, IL, Starlet Howie of Cutler, IL, Danielle Miller of Beihle, MO; her grandchildren: Matt (Chelsie) Miller, Bradley (Lauren) Miller, Wendy (Blake) Glodo, Zach (Cierra) Miller, Bryant Oettle, JenaLee(David) Capperino, Aaron, Adam Miller, Mykaleigha Owens, Adison Miller, Corey Miller, Alden Miller; great grandchildren: Brayden, Bryce, Braylyn Glodo, Alyssa Hagene, Dalston, Huxlee, Baylee, Wyatt, Aurora , Avery Miller, Edward, Liliana Oettle, Erina Lake, Anden, Ace Simon, ; Her brothers: Thomas H Gaston III of Cutler, Melvin D Gaston of Pinckneyville IL, ; Brothers in Law: Kenneth (Karen) Miller of Steeleville, IL, Ronald (Tammy) Miller of Cutler, IL, Thomas Hagene; Sisters in Law Patsy Spann of Pittsfield, IL and Teet (Roy) Conway of Cutler, IL; and Several nieces and nephews.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband Roy Miller; both her parents Thomas H & Bessie Gaston, a son Kevin “Bub” Miller, a nephew Charles “Bug” Gaston; brother: Jackie, sisters in law: Lavonne, Wanda, Sheryl, Annie, Juanita, and Martha; brothers-in-law: Vernon, Merle, Quentin, and Frank.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1pm at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on June 30, 2026 at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, where friends may call from 11 am until time of the service.
