STEELEVILLE, Jessica Lynn Haferkamp, 22, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:03 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2009, in Rural Sparta, IL. She was born May 7, 1987 in Chester, Illinois the daughter of John F. Haferkamp and Shelly R. (Rosendohl) Haferkamp. Jessica was a student at SWIC in Red Bud, IL as well as a member of the First Baptist Church in Chester, IL. She is survived by her parents John and Shelly Haferkamp of Steeleville, IL; Grandparents: Gary and Joan Potter of Percy, IL. Betty J. Haferkamp of Chester, IL, Robert Rosendohl of Chester, IL; Great grandparents: Glen and Ruth Rosendohl of Chester, IL; Fiancée: William Ray Tanner of Sparta, IL; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews as well as cousins. Jessica is preceded in death by her grandfather, Earl W. Haferkamp Sr. Grandmother, Sylvia Rosendohl, and Great grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Chester. Dr. Mike Fogerson will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Monday from 5 to 8pm and then on Tuesday from 7:30 to 9am, then from 10 to 11am at the First Baptist Church in Chester, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
