JACOB, Jerry Ray Wilson, 54, of Jacob, passed away at 5:43 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, Illinois. He was born July 2, 1957 in Murphysboro, Illinois the son of Troy and Kazuko (Matui) Wilson. Jerry was a retired Food Supervisor from Menard Correctional Center in Chester, IL. He was a member of Chester Eagles Club. He is survived by 2 sisters: Gina Wilson, Centralia, IL and Nicki (Don) McArrol, Crystal Springs, MS. Jerry is preceded in death by his Parents and 1 brother, Ricky Wilson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava from 5-8pm on Friday and from 7:30am Saturday until hour of service. The preferred form of remembrance is contributions to the American Cancer Society.
