PERCY– Jerry D. Wettig, 78, of Percy, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Chester, Illinois.

Jerry was born on November 22, 1946, in Percy, IL, the son of Henry and Edna (Meyerhoff) Wettig. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. Jerry was retired from World Color Press, Sparta and also a retired Farmer. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church – Wine Hill.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Ronald (Violet) Wettig of Percy, IL, his nieces and nephews: Tammy Wettig, Marty Wettig, Stacy Gura and Ronny Wettig.

Jerry was preceded in death by his Parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church – Wine Hill, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Mark Sedwick officiating. Burial to follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday morning where friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
