AVA – Jerry Allan Crontz, 61, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Jerry was born on September 18, 1963, in Gary, IN, the son of Charles W. and Patricia (McCoy) Crontz. He married Tammy Britton on May 25, 1985, in Wheeler, IN. Jerry was a Mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

Jerry is survived by his wife Tammy Crontz of Ava, IL, his children: Raymond Howard of Ava, IL, Tera Crontz of Ava, IL; his granddaughters, Dazy and Donna Copple, his great grandchildren: Amora, Kamdyn and Kamari; his mother, Pat Crontz of Ava, IL, his brother, Martin Crontz of Ava, IL, his aunt, Shirley McCoy of Ava, IL, his uncle, Bill McCoy of Ava, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, a sister, April Sunshine Crontz, and his grandparents.

Jerry's wishes were for cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
