AVA – Jeremy A. Pierce, 44, of Ava, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020, in Ava.

Jeremy was born in Chester, Illinois, on April 21, 1976, the son of John A. and Diana Sue Rieckenberg Pierce.  Jeremy married Jamie L. Eaton on August 2, 1997, at Steeleville, Illinois.  Jeremy was an Administrator for the Regional Office of Education.  He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Jamie Pierce of Ava; daughters, Abbie Pierce and Avery Pierce both of Ava; father and stepmother, John and Jane Pierce of Ava; brother, Josh (Anne) Pierce of Ava; sister, Jessica (William) Chancey of Ava; grandparents, Leroy and Della Mae Rieckenberg of Campbell Hill; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dave and Judy Eaton of Steeleville; sister-in-law, Sherri (Gary) Buch of Steeleville; several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncle and cousins; and many "Framily" members.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his Mother; Paternal Grandparents; and cousins, Courtney Dawn Rieckenberg and Stacey Ryan.

Due to Jeremy's wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  Memorials may be given to a College Fund for his daughters, Elverado High School Girls Basketball Team, or Trico Performing Arts.
