EVANSVILLE - Jeffery S. Copple, 51, of Evansville, passed away at 9:33 am, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at his home in Evansville, Illinois. Jeffery was born in Belleville, Illinois on August 9, 1963, the son of Calvin L. and Donna M. Saul Copple. He married Donna S. Wahl on May 8, 1982 at the Preston United Methodist Church. He was a retired truck driver. Jeffery was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville and a former member of the Chester Eagles. Jeffery was survived by his wife, Donna S. Copple of Evansville; his son, Jeremy (Crystal) Copple of Tilden, IL; his daughter, Jamie (J.J.) Carle of Columbia, IL; two grandchildren, Luchas and Sophia; his parents, Donna M. Copple of Cutler, IL and Calvin L. Copple, Sr. of Sparta, IL; his father-in-law, Don Wahl of Walsh, IL; his brothers, Calvin Copple, Jr. of Percy, IL, Tim Copple of Steeleville and Tom Copple of Cutler; his sister, Bridget Vogel of Waterloo, IL; a host of family member and friends; and two dogs, Chocolate Chip and Dozer. Jeffery was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Doris Wahl. A private service will be held at a later date. A visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm.
