O'FALLON – Jeanna Michele Smith Faulk, 44, of O'Fallon and formerly of Steeleville passed away at 4:20 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Cedar Ridge Health Care Center in Lebanon, Illinois.

Jeanna was born on November 15, 1971 in Sparta, the daughter of James W. and Jeannette (Kraus) Smith. She married Brett Faulk on May 2, 2001 in Riviera Maya, Mexico and they shared 15 years of marriage together. Jeanna was a homemaker, and a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. She was very active with her two boys in their various school activities.

Jeanna is survived by her husband; Brett Faulk, of O'Fallon, her two sons; Cale Faulk and Evan Faulk both of O'Fallon, her parents; James W. and Jeannette Smith of Steeleville, her brother; James and Joli Smith of Steeleville, sister – in – law; Jennifer Nisbet-Smith of St. Charles, MO, parent – in – laws; Bruce and Dana Faulk of Webster Groves, MO, sister – in – law; April and Tom Wilhelm, of Webster Groves, MO, nephews; Colin and Kyle Smith, Grant, Reece, and Carson Wilhelm, and one niece; Laine Wilhelm.

She was proceeded in death by 1 brother; Jason K. Smith, paternal grandparents; Walter and Emma Smith, maternal grandparents; Reinhard "Bud" and Opal Kraus, and 1 uncle; Darrel Kraus.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. Kelly Bedard officiating, burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening at the Wilson's Funeral home in Steeleville where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM and then on Wednesday 7:30 AM to 9 AM, then from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's School or the American Red Cross.
