WILLISVILLE - Jean Ann Jordan, 85, of Lynchburg, formerly of Willisville, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Tallo.

She was born on Monday, January 27, 1941, to the late Gussie and Irene Gerlach Tallo in Willisville, Illinois. Jean graduated from Trico High School and then furthered her education at Southern Illinois University. It was here that Jean met the love of her life, Ken Jordan. After moving to Lynchburg, Jean began a career at Lynchburg General Hospital in food service, eventually working her way up to Supervisor of Food Services at Centra.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 61 years, Ken Jordan; two sons, Robert and Randall Jordan; two daughters Paula Jordan of Altavista, and Debra Maddox (Wayne) of Rustburg; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family at Heritage Funeral Service, Lynchburg, VA, on Saturday, July 18,2026 from 1-3 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Willisville, IL.
