MURPHYSBORO, Janet Sue Smith, 60, of Murphysboro, passed away at Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Northview Nursing Home in St. Louis, MO. She was born March 15, 1950 in Ava, Illinois the daughter of Walter Smith and Golda (Worthen) Smith. She is survived by her sister-in-law: Rita Smith of Ava, IL; Six nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Family and friends are asked to met at the cemetery on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Ava Evergreen Cemetery in Ava. Arrangements are under the auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL.
