AVA – Janet Kay Graham, 80, of Ava, passed away at 4:40 pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.

Janet was born in Brazil, Indiana, on October 28, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Iona Mathery Turner. She married Jerry Graham, Sr., on January 30, 1963 in Salem, Illinois. Janet was retired from Dollar General in Murphysboro.

Janet is survived by her husband, Jerry Graham, Sr. of Ava; children, Lisa Graham of Ava, Jay (Heather) Graham of Steeleville, and Tammy Sue (Don) Phelps of Mount Vernon, IL; grandchildren, Veronica Smith, Jillian Lewis, Tarin Graham, Zachary Graham, Evan Graham; great grandson, Christopher Dagner; brother, Arthur Turner of Mount Vernon, IL; and sister, Carolyn Kubiac of Michigan.

Janet was preceded in death by her Parents and One Daughter, Debi Graham.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, with Rev. Bob Spangler officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Hospital.
