SPARTA – Janet L. Beck, 63, of Sparta, passed away at 3:20 am, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta.

Janet was born in Red Bud, Illinois, on January 9, 1958, the daughter of Wilfred and Amelia Pocppart Romay.  She married James N. Beck on February 14, 1996 in Chester.  He preceded her in death on December 27, 2010.   She was a Homemaker and of the Catholic Faith.

Janet is survived by her children, Angel Kempfer of Sparta and Timothy A. Kempfer, Jr. of Sparta; three grandchildren, Nicholas Kempfer, Bailey Jean Kempfer and Alexandria Kempfer; and sister, Rose Prater of St. Mary's, MO.

Janet was also preceded in death by her Parents.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, with Rev.
