Jamie N. Jones Foster MURPHYSBORO - Jamie N. Jones Foster, 31, of Murphysboro, passed away at 12:46 am, Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Carbondale, IL. Jamie was born in Carbondale, IL on October 23, 1981, the daughter of Steven and Cheryal King Jones. She was a tutor at SIU. Jamie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the SIU Writing Center. She was an Advocate for Marsy's Law. Jamie is survived by one daughter, Kate Emily Foster of Murphysboro; one son, Adam Karl Foster of Murphysboro; parents, Steve and Cheryal Jones of Murphysboro; paternal grandmother, Margaret Jones of Ava; maternal grandparents, Hursel and Betty King of Murphysboro; three sisters, Cindy Prescott of Murphysboro, Stephanie Albright of Oraville, IL and Abi Jones of Murphysboro; and several nieces and nephews. Jamie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Officiate Blaine Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery, Ava. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to an Educational Fund for her children.
