CHESTER – James Thompson, 47, of Chester passed away at 11:20 PM, Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Chester.
James was born on September 21, 1969, in Sparta, the son of Carlin E. and Cecelia (Essman) Thompson. He was a laborer. James was of the Pentecostal faith.
James is survived by his father; Carlin Thompson, of Quapaw, Oklahoma, mother; Cecelia Chandler, of Sparta, 1 brother; Nathan Lee Thompson, of Oklahoma, 3 sisters; Neoma Hoyt, of Tilden, Debra Brewer, of Topeka, KS, and Priscilla, of Topeka, KS.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister; Dorothy Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, with his father Carlin Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 AM Wednesday morning at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Memorials may be made in a Love fund for the Family.
