CUTLER – James Arthur Richmond, 84, of Cutler, IL, entered his Eternal home with Jesus Christ, his first love on December 20, 2020

James was born on July 19, 1936, to Milo and Helen (Smith) Richmond.  He married Marlene Jerominek-Rule, May 10, 2008, at the Denmark Baptist Church in Cutler, IL.  James was an active member of Denmark Baptist Church.  He was a farmer, who loved his animals and took the best care of them.  He was involved in Civic Community Outreach, Trico Lions for over 50 years, Cutler Fire Department, and Cutler Cemetery.  James was the owner agent of Southern Farm Mutual and worked at the coal mines.

James was a family man.  He is survived by his loving Wife, Marlene Richmond of Cutler, IL, Son, James Michael (Debbie) Richmond of Cutler, IL, Daughter, Martha (Dennis) Rickenberg of Campbell Hill, IL, Cassandra Weeks of DuQuoin, IL, Brother, Milo E. (Bonnie) Richmond of Ithica, NY, nine Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren whom he adored, many cousins and friends, all of whom will miss him tremendously.

James was preceded in death by his Parents.

Private graveside services will be held at the Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, IL, with Reverend Marty DeRoche officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or Denmark Baptist Church and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
