STEELEVILLE - James M. Galbraith, 72, of Steeleville, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital in Chester. James was born in Percy, IL on June 25, 1940, the son of Harry and Edna C. Ethington Galbraith. He was retired from Gilster Mary Lee, Corp., Steeleville. James was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. James is survived by two sisters, Ermalea Bense of Bowling Green, KY and Dorothy Kueker of Ava, IL; and several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his Parents; stepfather, Ronald Jay ; sister, Helen Morgan; brother-in-law, James Morgan and Ralph Kueker; and nephew, Ricky Morgan. Graveside service will held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Steeleville City Cemetery, Steeleville, IL with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating. Burial will follow thereafter. Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is in charge of arrangements.
