SPARTA, James Austin Bowlin, 54, of Sparta, passed away at Friday, November 20, 2009, at his home in Sparta, IL. James was born February 27, 1955 in Sparta, Illinois the son of Luther Bowlin and Dorothy (Ernsting) Bowlin. James of the Protestant faith and was a carpenter. James is survived by one brother, Robert Bowlin of Punta Gorda, FL; one sister, Patricia Bowlin of Sarasota, FL; and one nephew, Jack Bowlin of Sarasota, FL. James was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at the Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta with Rev. Tom Foster officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.
