PERCY – James F. Bond, 88, of Percy, passed away at 12:09 PM, Friday, October 11, 2019 at his home in Percy.

James was born on June 5, 1931, in Poplar Grove, Illinois the son of Roscoe and Abigail (Peters) Bond. He was an over the road truck driver.

He is survived by his children; Judy (Harvey) Williams, of Springfield, Illinois, Jill (Lonnie) Scales, of Springfield, Illinois, Randy (Jeanie) Bond, of Steeleville, he is also survived by 4 other children, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers; Gene and John Bond.

It was Mr. Bond's wishes for cremation and there will be no services at this time. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
