WILLISVILLE – James N. Barber, 89, of St. Peters, MO, formerly of Willisville, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital-West, in Lake St. Louis, MO.
James was born in Willisville on September 8, 1926, the son of the late Sylvan and Bessie Hays Barber. He married Ruth M. Weil on June 30, 1946 at St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on January 19, 2014. James was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO.
James is survived by his daughter, Janet (Robert) Bennett of St. Peters, MO.
James was also preceded in death by his Parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
James wishes were for no services, with burial at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
