SPARTA – Jacqueline S. Clark, 67, of Sparta, passed away at 6:00 pm, Sunday, December 22, 2019, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon.

Jacqueline was born in Red Bud, Illinois, on August 23, 1952, the daughter of Richard and Doris McSmith Cavalier.   She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Tony Lott of Marion and Felicia Sanchez of Sparta; grandchildren, Patrick Lott and Gabriel Sanchez; parents: Richard and Doris McSmith Cavalier of Sparta; brothers: Rick (Theresa) Cavalier of Swansea, IL, Tom (Mary) Cavalier of Glen Carbon, IL, Greg Cavalier of Sparta, Mike (Emi'lie) Cavalier of Czech Republic, and Jeff Cavalier of Sparta; and sister, Gena (Todd) Hyatt of Olatha, KS.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her brother, Frank.

Funeral mass will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 27, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, with Father Vincent Mukasa officiating.  Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9 am until 11am.  Memorials may be given to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
