AVA, Jack Dean Carlock, 50, of Ava, passed away at11:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 04, 1958 in Murphysboro, Illinois the son of Jack L. Carlock and Carole (Glenn) Carlock. He is survived by his sons: David Carlock of Ava, IL, Jacob Carlock of Ava, IL, Travis Carlock of Ava, IL.; his parents Jack and Carole Carlock of Murphysboro, IL; sisters and brothers: Cathy Carlock of Murphysboro, IL, Sherry Carlock of Murphysboro, IL, Debra ( Ross) Reiman of Pocohontas, IL, Jan (Dan) Elbrecht of Columbus, IL, Karen Johnson of Wayne City, IL, Robert (Lisa) Carlock of Ava, IL. He was a beloved uncle to Nick, Veronica, Mary, Amanda, Courtney, Brittany, Lindsay, Megan, Victoria, Caleb and Kaitlyn. He is Preceded in death by his brother-in-law Tracy Johnson; his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Monday,October 13, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. James Easton will be officiating. Burial will be at Dillinger Cemetery , Carbondale, IL Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Sunday from 5-8 pm and then on Monday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. The Preferred form of remembrance is to the Jack D. Carlock Fund.
