CUTLER - Jack B. Caby, 85, of Cutler, passed away at 4:00 pm, Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester. Jack was born on March 22, 1927 in Cutler, IL, the son of Ora E. and Beulah Blair Caby. He married Regina Zotti on May 12, 1946 in Cutler, IL. He was a retired carpenter. Jack was a veteran of the Merchant Marines having served during WWII. He was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler; American Legion Post #1145 in Percy; Granite City Lodge #877 A.F. & A.M.; Eagles Lodge #1126 in Granite City, IL; and Carpenter's Union in St. Louis, MO. Jack is survived by his wife, Regina Caby of Cutler; three sons, David (Donna) Caby of Ellis Grove, IL, Randy (Deb) Caby of Campbell Hill, and Kevin (Chris) Caby of Red Bud, IL; two grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Cleland and Scott Caby; one great grandchild, Collins Cleland. Jack was preceded in death by his Parents; two sisters; and one brother. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Burial will follow in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Sunday and on Monday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Masonic services will be held at 8:00 pm, Sunday under auspices of Alma Lodge #497 A.F. & A.M. Memorials may be given to the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler.
