CAMPBELL HILL, Ivan E. Cotton, 67, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 3:05 A.M. Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, IL. He was born February 2, 1942 in Clark County, Indiana the son of Ivan Cotton and Beatrice (Nance) Cotton. Ivan married Loretta S. Miller on December 23, 1961 in Dupo, Illinois. Mr. Cotton worked as a truck mechanic and he was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife Loretta Cotton of Campbell Hill, IL; daughter: Gina Lynn Cotton of Campbell Hill, IL; brothers: Earl Cotton of Owensboro, KY, Harold Cotton of AZ; other brothers and sisters: Billie Cotton, David Cotton, Cindy Cotton, William Dewey Cotton, and Irvana Cotton all from IL.; sister: Barbara Nell Davis of Millstadt, IL; two half sisters: Virginia Lambert of Bremen, KY and Sherrie Lynn Pannell of IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. Francis Bartley will be officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
